Compensation
Participating in physician contracting can significantly enhance your customary earnings. While each situation is different and exceptions occur, you should expect rates exceeding your current level by 25 – 75%. Supply and demand has created a shortage of many specialties within most provider areas. Today, more than 15% of CRNA's and physicians have worked as a Locum Tenens. Demand is strong and continued growth is forecasted.
The ability to provide facilities talented practitioners on short notice is a premium service and is reflected in your compensation.
The Alliance staff knows contract physicians rank among the best. Your skills and competency deserve recognition and rewards.
Many practitioners prefer the advantages of 1099 contracting over conventional W2 employment, and form their own business organized as a LLC, Professional Corporation, or Sub chapter ‘S’. We can accommodate their needs by making payments to their business tax ID#. Operating as a small business can provide additional benefits such as: superior retirement plans, expense deductions, and insurance and annuity contracts. We can assist our practioners with accounting, tax, and business formation needs.
NOTE: Alliance Recruiting Resources strongly recommends obtaining professional tax advice before committing to any structure or assumption regarding tax, liability, and financial planning. We will provide them all the information they request at your direction.
