• Unit Census averages about 12-18 patients per shift

Shift Structure/Schedule:

• Schedule: they will be considered for 12-hour shifts; 7a-7pm (days); 11a-11pm (admissions) and 7p-7a (NIGHTS); candidates must be able to consider either & NIGHTS will be a priority – the # of shifts will be TBD  – I am told CURRENTLY the NIGHT shifts will outweigh the day and admissions shifts
• Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Inpatient Hospital Coverage; Support Consults in the Hospital; There are no procedures that are required. Hospital has excellent support services including 24-hour CCU coverage, PICC line placement, resource nurse, rapid response nurse, central line call service, anesthesia and interventional radiology.

• EPIC – please ask if your candidate has experience with this EMR system and when was the last time they utilized it

Support Staff:

• Our department at present has expanded to require 16 full time physicians who cover our daytime shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as well as 4.5 full-time nocturnists and two physicians; RN; PA/NP Support

Will client pay for travel?       

• Yes

• Client prefers drive-in candidate however will consider full travel for a provider that commit to 3+ shifts in a row

• No – Must have Current and Active Minnesota License (non-licensure candidates are NOT being considered currently)
