JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Facility Type:
  • Emergency/Urgent Care – Clinic Setting; Must be willing to float to multiple locations (most are within 1 hour or less of each other) as needed
• Specialty:
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Acute/Urgent Care
• Length of Assignment:   ASAP – Ongoing
• Call Requirements:  NO CALL; Shift work
• Charting/Dictation:  EPIC
• Required Skills & Procedures:
  • MUST be trained to see both adults and pediatrics.
  • Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages but generally 6 months and up)
  • Comfortable with minor procedures, reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Vaccine Requirements:
  • Up to date and current on all vaccinations
  • A completed Covid Vaccination card is now a required
• Other Information:
  • Physicians: Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds (this is required).
  • Must be residency trained and BC (BE if within 5 years of residency) in Family Practice/IM/PEDS or ED
• # of FTE’s Needed:  2 FTE’s
• Start Date:  As soon as credentialed
• Inpatient/Outpatient:  Outpatient 
• Daily Census/Patient Volume:   30-40 per day
• Shift Structure/Schedule:
• Clinic Hours are as follows:
• Mon 9am-5pm
• Tues-Fri 8am-8pm
• Sat-Sun 9am-5pm

• Up to 14 shifts per month. Preference to locums able to cover a significant number of shift. Preference also to local physicians, since this is an ongoing assignment
• Can schedule 4 shifts in a row
• Support Staff/Services:  NP’s PA’s; RN’s
• Will client pay for travel?
  • Prefer drive-in; however will consider travel for provider that can commit 4-5 shifts per weeks, ongoing                                       
• Additional Certifications:
  • DEA (need to be able to change address)
  • AHA – BLS and ACLS
