General Description:

Administration of anesthesia and monitoring patients during surgeries and other medical procedures. Provides and documents pre and post anesthetic evaluations. Obtains informed consent for anesthesia. Provides induction, maintenance, emergence and post anesthesia care. Consultation on airway management, participation in codes at the direction of a supervising anesthesiologist. Supportive assistance to residents and medical students on anesthesia rotations
