Schedule & Flexibility: Beeper call only.

• 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) with a 1:3 call ratio.
• Providers can expect manageable consult volumes (0–5/day) and admissions (0–2/day).
• This role is ideal for physicians seeking a better schedule with predictable call responsibilities.

Pay Rate: Highly competitive daily rate; negotiable based on experience and availability.

Charting/Dictation: Epic EMR

Call Requirements:

• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Call back required: 100%
• Patients seen: 0–3/day
• ERCP & EUS not required for call coverage

Required Skills & Procedures:

• Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, variceal injection)
• ERCP (diagnostic preferred; therapeutic not required)
• PEG placement
• Esophageal dilation/manometry & interpretation
• Small bowel biopsy
• Lower GI endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy (flexible & rigid)
• Colonoscopy (biopsy & polypectomy)
• EUS (preferred but not required)
• Liver biopsy
• Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion & management
