This Kentucky-based Hospital/Outpatient Cancer Center is seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. • Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
• Assignment Length: Ongoing; long-term stability expected

Call & Schedule Details

Shift flexibility is a key advantage of this role, especially for locum providers seeking better work-life balance.

• Call Rotation: Every other week
• Night Call: Monday-Thursday only
• Night Call Structure:
  • Offsite
  • Phone triage only
  • Fewer than 5 calls per night
• Rounding:
  • During call weeks, the provider rounds once daily (AM or PM)
• Weekend Call: None at this time
• Charting: Epic (Epic experience required)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient Hematology & Oncology clinic coverage
• Inpatient rounding during call weeks
• Admissions and consults during call weeks
• New patient evaluations and follow-ups
• Management of stable oncology patients
• Primary focus on oncology care
• Chemotherapy management
• Coordination with infusion center services

Compliance Requirements

• Most recent vaccination records
