A respected community-based cancer center in Wisconsin is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide coverage from October 2026 through March 2027 due to a provider vacancy and an extended leave of absence.

This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, making it ideal for physicians seeking greater control over their work-life balance. While full-time coverage is preferred, we will also consider providers available 2 to 3 weeks per month.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care
  • Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations
  • Manage hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Perform bone marrow biopsies (preferred)
  • Participate in shared call coverage

Call Requirements

  • Shared beeper call during nights and weekends
  • 30-minute response time required while on call

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
  • Active Wisconsin license preferred or ability to obtain
  • Experience managing hematology and oncology patients
  • Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
