Seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a respected hospital-based cancer center in Wisconsin. This position was created to cover a long-term physician vacancy and offers the flexibility many locum providers want, including the option to work 2-3 weeks per month.

Join a collaborative oncology team consisting of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers while providing both inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Scope

• Hematology and Oncology patient care
• Acute leukemia management
• Inpatient chemotherapy management
• Bone marrow biopsies required
• Post-autologous stem cell transplant follow-up
• Post CAR-T therapy follow-up
• Daily inpatient rounding

Call Coverage

• 1:4 beeper call rotation
• Friday 7:30 AM to Friday 7:30 AM call coverage
• Approximately 5-10 phone consults
• 30-minute response time
• Rare in-person callbacks

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience with bone marrow biopsies
• Comfortable managing inpatient and outpatient oncology patients
