Clinical Requirements

• Required Skills: Proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks
• Cases:
  • No trauma
  • No OB
  • Approximately 4,900 cases per year
  • Bread-and-butter general anesthesia, orthopedics, gynecology, and high-volume GI
• Daily Responsibilities:
  • Pre-ops, PACU, boards
  • Some blocks (CRNAs also perform blocks)
  • Floating and providing breaks during the day

Practice Model

• Supervision Model: 85% supervision / 15% own cases
• Team Structure: 1 MD with 4–6 CRNAs daily
• Block Requirements: Yes—must provide proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks
